On the morning of 21-Nov-2023, at PVC-MS’s fabrication yard in Vung Tau City, PetroVietnam Domestic Exploration Production Operating Company Limited (PVEP POC) which is under PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), Vietsovpetro Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro), and Petroleum Equipment Assembly and Metal Structure Joint Stock Company (PVC-MS) organized a ceremony to recognize 1,500,000 safe working hours of Dai Hung Field Development Phase 3 Project. This is a positive and important milestone for the contractor and investor units involved in the project development activities.
Overview of the ceremony
Dai Hung Field Development Phase 3 Project is invested by PetroVietnam Domestic Exploration Production Operating Company Limited (PVEP POC), with Vietsovpetro Joint Venture (Vietsovpetro) as the EPCI general contractor. The scope of work for PVC-MS in this project is fabricating the wellhead platform topside structure, with a total weight of 1,416 tons. The construction period is from 14-Mar-2023, and it is expected to be handed over to the general contractor Vietsovpetro in May 2024.
Acknowledging the importance of the project, from the beginning, PVC-MS has implemented a comprehensive range of measures and programs to control safety, such as issuing regulations and guidelines on labor safety, fire prevention, environmental protection; and organizing safety training for employees. In addition to daily monitoring, the company has also established weekly and monthly inspection teams for safety, health, and environmental work, and encouraged workers to ensure that the project is implemented on schedule, safely, and with quality.
With the efforts that have been made, PVC-MS is trusted by the investor and the general contractor to complete the task and contribute to the overall success of the entire project. Up to this point, PVC-MS has achieved 100% safe working hours, with no work-related accidents affecting the lives and health of the workers.
