RC9 is a wellhead platform constructed for Rong oil field, Lot 09-1 of the continental shelf of Vietnam, which is about 145 km away from southeast of Vung Tau city. It was designed for automatic exploitation with the capacity of 2,000 tons of liquid per day.
RC9 topside is about 630 tons in weight including structure, equipment and technical pipes. The construction period of RC9 topside lasts 4 months as scheduled. On March 30, 2016, it will be handed over to Vietsovpetro for offshore installation.
