PVC-MS is the fabrication contractors of the project, that the investor is a joint venture of PetroVietnam and OAO Zarubezhneft (Russian Federation), VSP is the operator; the main contractor is Offshore Construction Division (OCD – a member unit of VSP).
BK Thien Ung WHP is a gas and condensate drilling rig, located at Block 04-3, 120.5 m water depth, with the total jacket and topside weight of 15,000 tons, in which the jacket (fabricated by PVC-MS) weighs 6330 tons, including jacket, float, ship dock, and water separator tubes.
Under the plan, PVC-MS will complete fabrication onshore and handed over the jacket to the investors for offshore installation at the end of June 2015.
