White Cat platform consists of jacket, landing craft, piles, with total weigh is 2,051 tons; topside and torches weigh of 538 tons. PVC-MS is ready for construction with the best quality, to ensure safe and timely progress. Under the plan, the jacket will be launched out on 1st May and the topside will be launched out on 1st July and sent to offshore installations.
White Cat wellhead platform is installed in White Cat field. This is a mine was just found by VSP, in block 09-1 at the southwest of the Bach Ho field, with a daily oil flow of 250 cubic meters, or nearly 1,600 barrels. VSP will connect White Cat platform system with technology system of the Bach Ho field.
Commercial production at Meo Trang would start in 2012.
