Te Giac Trang field is about 100 km Southeast of Vietnam from Vungtau city. This is a field belongs to the Petroleum Contract of Block 16-1, operated by Hoang Long JOC on behalf of the Petroleum contractors in the joint venture.
H4 topside is a component of the H4 WHP to assure the oil and gas output production increase from TGT field for PVN, for Vietnam and other partners of HLJOC.
After the completion of the H4 topside and related works, it is scheduled to receive the first gas from H4 WHP in August 2012, one year before schedule.
To achieve this important target, Hoang Long JOC has selected the contractor for the fabrication of H4 topside. And the Petroleum Equipment Assembly and Metal Structure Joint Stock Company (PVC-MS) – one of the companies that experiences in marine structures fabrication- has been awarded the project of H4 WHP with the EPCI contract (Design, Procure, Manufacture and Install) valued up to 44 million US dollars...
With an important significance of the project, representative of the contractor - Mr. Nguyen Dinh The, director of the PVC-MS has confirmed: “We are committed to implement project with the highest sense of responsibility, with best plans for construction, manufacturing to ensure the construction schedule, quality and safety, at the same time to hasten the construction’s progress in order to complete the onshore fabrication, fasten load out and continue to install offshore at the end of May 2012, and make sure that exploitation platform H4 will receive the fist oil flow in August 2012.”
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Duong Quang, Vice Minister of Trade and Industry congratulated and praised Hoang Long JOC has guaranteed the commitments and implement plans for developing the Te Giac Trang field. He emphasized that the signing ceremony of this contract demonstrates further the development of technology in manufacturing and installation offshore works of PVC-MS in particular and Petro Vietnam in general. About the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Deputy Minister said it will create favorable conditions for the project is implemented successfully.
Attending to sharing the joy with PVC-MS and Hoang Long JOC, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc, , General Director of Petro Vietnam congratulated and appreciated on the efforts of PVC-MS to become a key company implementing epCI contracts in petroleum service following the development strategic of Petro Vietnam. On behalf of Petro Vietnam, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc expressed full trust in domestic and foreign partners in Hoang Long JOC about construction and installation business, specializing in the petroleum industry. Phung Dinh Thuc had asked related units in Petro Vietnam, in Government and local office to remove all arising difficulties, to ensure success for the project.
