Since 2010, PVC-MS has been manufacturing pressure vessels for internal business.
To expand of supplying equipments for petroleum industry, striving to a self-contained model in manufacturing and service, PVC-MS has decided to invest manpower, equipments and machineries to improve its production capacity and supply pressure vessels to the market.
Each pressure vessel, which are produced for Vietsovpetro has a capacity of 4m3, height: 3,730 mm, weight 1680 kg, pressure 12 kg/cm2.
PVC-MS has adopted a closed producing process; all inputs are inspected and certificated by the DNV. Fabrication process is implemented follow ASME standard about regulating on manufacturing pressure vessels and tanks. Outputs reach standard VIRES.
PVC-MS is one of the few company in Petro Vietnam is allowed producing pressure tanks. The appearance of the pressure vessel with brand PVC-MS shows PVC-MS’s determination in the implementation of policies of Petro Vietnam on developing internal power, enable domestic service. It also creates a chance for domestic enterprises could easily buy domestic pressure vessels with high-quality, low prices, import restrictions.
This is an important developing step to base for PVC-MS to implement contracts following EPC model.
