The jacket is a part of Thai Binh field development project, located in Lot 102, about 20 km from Tien Hai to the southeast, invested by Petronas Carigali Overseas Company Sdn Bhd (PCOSB). PVC-MS is the EPCC contractor (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning).
Thai Binh WHP has a total weight of about 2,000 tons. The project was started in May 2014. On 22nd March 2015, PVC-MS has handed over its jacket to the investor for offshore installation. In the middle of April 2015, PVC-MS will connect and test the platform before handing over t the investor.
This is a big project with stringent schedule requirements and the working environment has many risk potentials. PVC-MS has been controlling risks through systems, such as ISO 9001: 2008, OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2010 and HSE.
In a close collaboration with the investor, PVC-MS has been implementing the project on schedule with high quality and reached 900,000 hours of safe working hours.
