Jacket and topside of Moc Tinh rig is invested by Bien Dong POC, Vietsovpetro is the general contractor and PVC- MS is a subcontractor of manufacturing on shore.
Moc Tinh exploration rig is the biggest rig was built and installed in Vietnam so far. Topside of Jupiter has a total weight of than 2250 tons, was started construction on 7th May 2010.
The drill floor is one of the two main floors of Moc Tinh topside, with a length of 45 meters and 37 meters width, weighing nearly 600 tons.
This drilling floor was combined up to on the top floor of Moc Tinh topside. Until now, the PVC-MS has completed 80% of construction workload Moc Tinh topside. Expected in September 2011 PVC-MS will complete the works to hand over to the general contractor.
