PVC-MS leaders introduced with the project PVN’s leaders about
Petroleum Fabrication & Metal Structures Yard and H4 Te Giac Trang project
The delegation visited Petroleum Equipments & Metal Structures Yard of PVC-MS, where H4 Topside Te Giac Trang project is constructed, the first IPC project of general contractor PVC-MS. Here, the general director of PetroVietnam has high appreciated the efforts of PVC-MS in the construction the yard, improving production capacity and expand the scope of construction activities, construction and installation off shore.

Visiting the PVC-MS complex building, PVN’s leaders were excited for the strong development of the company in the right trend, and hope PVC-MS will continue to promote the role of the pioneers in the sectors of oil and gas construction and installation, contribute for PVN to implement successfully the oil and gas production targets for the country.

The same day, at PVC-MS’s office, the delegation of PVN attended the meeting about implementation status of the Nam Con Son 2 project.

the implementation of EPC package for GPP2 gas pipeline Nam Con Son projects
Gas Pipeline Nam Con Son 2 Project Gas by the investor PVGas includes 2 construction parts: offshore and onshore. VSP constructs offshore part ; PVC/PVC-MS construct onshore part: the station and pipeline. Total on shore package is about USD 432.5 million.
After more than three months after the date of project contract signing, the work of contractors is being implemented as planned. PVC/PVC- MS’s has been working to prepare a stable starting a project.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Do Van Hau recognized the efforts of the contractors in the project, and reminded the general contractor to maximize the unit's internal resources to implement the project and priority of sub-contractors are companies within the Group and in the country. Only the high-tech parts that Vietnam can not take, get a new tender for foreign contractors to comply with regulations.
Gas Pipeline NCS 2 Project’s purpose is to collect mine gas from the Hai Thach and Moc Tinh Thien Ung, Mang Cau and other mines surrounding the Nam Con Son basin to GPP2 plants, simultaneously meet the demand for importing gas from Asian Southeast countries in to Southern areas in the future. The project will efficiently exploit natural resources to contribute to the national energy security.
Implementing this project will help PVC-MS confirmed the role in the implementation of projects with high technological requirements, and confirm their capabilities in managing and implementing the EPC package in accordance with Development strategy, that PVC has been approved.
