The package that PVC-MS obtained from Lilama: "Installing turbine system / generator of Power Unit No.2 and other ancillary items", worth about VND 150 billion.
Two new packages for PVC-MS belongs to the event of PVC and Lilama has signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement and economic contracts worth 2.500 billion VND on "Package of installation of the mechanical and electrical plant - The Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power plant project ", happened on the same day in Hanoi.
The Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power plant project is invested by PVN, PVC is the general contractor.
Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant 2, in My Loc commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province has a capacity of 1,200 MW with 2 units, each year about 6.7 billion kwh to provide electricity. General contractor PVC officially started construction project in April 2011. Up to now, the project has been implemented over 20 months, the overall progress achieved over 34%. Currently, the project is continuing to implement the piles construction, control center, boiler area, bunker, port's ground, particularly the completion of the selection of contractors for implementing the procurement and installation.
