The project introduces modern business process and information technology systems as well as a more transparent service–oriented tax administration. Registration, return processing, and tax payment will become possible online. This reduces compliance costs for taxpayer.
Under the project, PVC-MS declares tax online following HTKK and iHTKK. The program has brought significant effects, such as reducing time, procedures, manpower, costs, limiting overcrowding at tax offices, accurate information, convenience.... But there some problems happen in the online tax declaration, such as network often overloaded, especially in the last day of the tax payment period.
To assess the project to modernize tax administration, PVC-MS and the World Bank have confirmed this is very useful project for enterprises. The World Bank’s experts have perceived limitations in the process of implementing to optimize the system.
