On November 2, 2016, Petroleum Equipment Assembly and Metal Structure JSC (PVC-MS, stock symbol: PXS) successfully erected Tho Trang 3 Upper deck at Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Port. The project was invested by Vietsovpetro. As a general contractor, PVC-MS performed jacket, piles and topside fabrication.
Steel structure of Tho Trang 3 topside, which is constructed by PVC-MS, includes 03 main parts: Main deck, Platform and Upper Deck. PVC-MS has accomplished the installation of these 03 parts into their positions. In parallel, the company is urgently fabricating, installing equipments, skid, piping systems, shelters and finishing other steel sections.
PVC-MS has completed 57.62% of the topside by far, exceeding by 2.79% of the whole progress.
Tho Trang 3 topside is expected to be completed onshore construction on February 28, 2017 and handed over to Vietsovpetro for offshore installation.
