The project is invested by Petronas Carigali Overseas Company Sdn Bhd (PCOSB, PVC-MS is the General Contractor EPC.
Attending the ceremony, from the investor, include: Mr. Noor M Ilias Idris, Director of International Project Development of Petronas Malaysia; Msr.Hazizi Rozana Mohamad, Head of Construction Depatment of Petronas Malaysia ; Mr. Zulkarnai B Ismail, General Director of PCVL; Mr. Zarim Rahim, Project Director; Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang, Head of Safety Depatment of the Project.
From the General Contractors (EPPC) PVC-MS, include: Mr. Tran Vu Phuong, Deputy Director of the company, the Project Director, and the all labor, who are working in Thai Binh exploration platform project.
The EPC contractor package (Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract) of Thai Binh platform by PVC-MS, is planed to welcome the first oil flow on 15th June 2015.
This project requires a rushing schedule, with many potential risks from working conditions. PVC-MS has implemented various measures to effectively control the risks through system ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
Giving his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Vu Phuong, said: Thanks to good management, PVC-MS has completed more than 90% of the workload. In particular, PVC-MS has reached the milestone of 700,000 hours of labor safety. This is the 2nd safety milestone that PVC-MS committed to the owner.
At the ceremony, Mr. Zulkarnai B Is Mail recognized the efforts of PVC-MS to keep safety in Thai Binh Project. With their efforts, PVC-MS will actively prevent any risk of loss of safety to ensure the success of the project.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang thanked PVC-MS for the corporation between the general contractor and PCOSB to implement the project in the best way. He wishes PVC-MS will continue to effectively manage the project, strictly control all the risks to successfully implement the project.
