On the afternoon of May 7, 2025, a delegation from the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam-PVN), led by Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Member of the Board of Directors, and representatives from various Group departments, visited and held a working session with Petroleum Equipment Assembly & Metal Structure Joint Stock Company (PVC-MS) at the PVC-MS Port Yard. This visit was conducted within the framework of a working program with member units of the PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PETROCONs).

Attending the session were Mr. Nghiem Quang Huy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PETROCONs, and Mr. Phan Khac Man, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of PVC-MS, along with members of the PVC-MS Board of Directors, Board of Management, and project department leaders.

Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Phan Khac Man presented the company's capabilities and development potential, current and completed projects, and the successes PVC-MS has achieved in recent years, alongside the difficulties and challenges the unit is currently facing. The Director also expressed gratitude for the attention and support received from the Group and the Corporation. Through its proposals, PVC-MS requested the Group to continue providing support and further guidance to help PETROCONs and PVC-MS overcome obstacles and successfully complete all assigned plans and tasks.

Following the report, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh invited all participants to contribute their views. Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc, Member of the PVC-MS Board of Directors, emphasized the unit's more than 40 years of development history, its construction competence, and its achievements. However, he noted that lingering financial difficulties from past years have created significant hurdles in the company’s bidding process and securing new work. He requested the Group’s continued attention to allow PVC-MS deeper participation in projects currently being implemented by the Group.

Representatives from the Group's specialized departments engaged in frank discussions regarding the issues PVC-MS faces, ranging from resource and market challenges to factors related to policy and operating mechanisms. The feedback and strategic directions provided by the delegation are expected to serve as a roadmap for PVC-MS to formulate specific plans, overcome obstacles, and pursue long-term strategic goals aligned with the overall development strategy of Petrovietnam.

After listening to the reports and proposals, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh expressed his understanding of the difficulties and challenges that PVC-MS has faced, while recognizing and commending the achievements and results the company has attained through its efforts. He stressed that PVC-MS is a core unit within PETROCONs, with a long-standing tradition and leading expertise in the fabrication and installation of metal structures for oil, gas, and energy works, playing a vital role in the Group's value chain.
He encouraged the unit to continue maximizing its sense of responsibility and creativity in finding optimal solutions to enhance operational efficiency. In the immediate future, the unit must successfully execute its scope of work in the Block B – O Mon Project Chain, which is the largest gas-to-power project in Vietnam’s oil and gas sector and a key national energy project. Long-term, PVC-MS needs a development path consistent with its existing capacity and strengths. He affirmed that the Group will always provide attention and create the best possible conditions for its member units to participate in the industry's value chain, contributing to the overall growth of the Group and the development of the National Energy Industry.

The working session took place in an open, frank atmosphere and yielded many positive outcomes. This not only demonstrated the concern and partnership of the Group's leadership toward its member units but also served as a great source of encouragement for PVC-MS to continue developing its internal strength, enhancing competitiveness, and contributing to the sustainable development of the Corporation. The PVC-MS leadership committed to seriously adopting the guidance provided, translating it into specific business actions, and striving to successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to the Group's growth targets in 2025 and beyond.
As a core unit of PETROCONs, PVC-MS remains aligned with the strategic orientation of the Group. The working session provided significant motivation and encouragement to the leadership and all employees of PVC-MS to continue striving, innovating, and reaching further in the new era of the National Energy Industry.
