On the morning of April 11th , 2014, the “First cut” cermony for Te Giac Trang H5 Wellhead plarform jacket and drilling wellbay module I project were held at the PVC-MS Yard. The bidding package is of VND 184.8 billion ( USD 8.7 million), VAT not included.

On the morning of April 11th , 2014, the “First cut” cermony for Te Giac Trang  H5 Wellhead plarform jacket and drilling wellbay module I project were held at the PVC-MS Yard. The bidding package is of VND 184.8 billion ( USD 8.7 million), VAT not included.

The ceremony was honoured to receive the presences of Petro Vietnam, the investor, the main contractor, the partners.

H5 Wellhead platform and drilling wellbay belong to the plan of   Te Giac Trang field development by Hoang Long JOC. The project is invested by Hoàng Long JOC (HLJOC), PTSC M & C is the general contractor and PVC-MS is the fabrication contractor.

This is the first project of cooperation between PVC-MS and PTSC M & C.

The Te Giac Trang oil field is located offshore Vietnam, in the northern part of Block 16-1 in the Cuu Long Basin some 62 miles (100 kilometers) southeast of Vung, invested by Hoang Long JOC ( HLJOC ). This is the second platform invested in Te Giac Trang field, Block 16-1. In 2011, PVC - MS has been awarded EPCI H4 topsides by HLJOC, USD 44.4 million.

The handover and acceptance of the project is expected to take place in August 2014.
