The General Department of Petroleum issued Decision No. 255/DK-TC on the establishment of the Steel Structure Enterprise - under the Oil and Gas Construction Joint Stock Company.

On September 28, 1995, the General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation issued Decision No. 1309/DK-TCNS on changing the name of the Steel Structure Enterprise to the Metal Structure & Trough Installation Enterprise under the Oil and Gas Design & Construction Company.

On November 26, 2009, the Company officially converted its form of operation from a One Member Limited Liability Company to a Petroleum Equipment Assembly and Metal Structure Joint Stock Company, according to Decision No. 916 dated November 4, 2009 of the Board of Management of PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation .
