Petroleum Equipment Installation and Metal Structure Joint Stock Company (PVC-MS) is a member unit of Vietnam Oil and Gas Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PETROCONS) under Vietnam National Energy - Industry Group (PVN), established on October 20, 1983, formerly known as Steel Structure Enterprise with the main function of providing specialized construction and installation services in the oil and gas industry for projects of oil and gas exploitation, transportation, storage and processing. PVC-MS's traditional products are the construction of drilling rig structures, tanks, technological pipelines, pipelines, manufacturing of oil and gas mechanical equipment, and installation of super-sized and super-heavy equipment.
After more than 40 years of construction and development, PVC-MS has grown to become a leading main contractor specializing in providing high-quality technical services for the Oil and Gas and Defense industries.
PVC-MS has successfully manufactured and installed 69 Bases, 22 Topsides of drilling rigs for domestic investors and foreign joint ventures, including record-breaking large projects in Vietnam at the time of construction such as: Dai Hung Base in 2011, Moc Tinh gas exploitation platform in 2012 and excellently implemented EPC turnkey projects such as: Topside H4 project of Te Giac Trang platform, Diamond platform project, Thai Binh platform... The company has also participated in the implementation of 19 pipeline projects oil and gas, tanks containing petroleum products, oil and gas processing plants, thermal power plants, petrochemical refineries... all projects are highly appreciated by the Investor for safety, quality and progress such as: Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Project, Long Son Petrochemical Complex Project, Thai Binh 2 Thermal Power Plant Project...
More than half of the offshore drilling rig projects of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry, most of the defense and security platform projects and many key national projects have been excellently implemented by PVC-MS. This result has proven that PVC-MS is a strong brand in the market of high-quality technical services for the domestic and foreign oil and gas industry. PVC-MS owns a team of experts and engineers specializing in structure, technology, mechanics, electrodynamics and control. The company is one of the pioneers in the industry in manufacturing oil and gas mechanical equipment. PVC-MS has successfully designed and manufactured technological equipment clusters such as: Chemical Injection Skids, Closed Drain Vessel, Wellhead Control Panel and Instrumentation/ Fuel Gas Skids, Pressure Vessel... Especially in 2013, for the first time, PVC-MS officially successfully manufactured the E-House Golden Lion of the Northeast. This is the first E-House manufactured in Vietnam. Up to now, PVC-MS has successfully implemented E-House H5, E-House Su Tu Nau platform... and has become a trusted address for manufacturing E-House control centers for domestic oil and gas contractors and foreign joint ventures. The presence of PVC-MS branded oil and gas mechanical equipment has opened a new field for the Company's production and business strategy. Currently, PVC-MS has a modern and spacious working infrastructure, a 23-hectare port yard, and a loading capacity of 35 tons/m2. The 246m long port, with a capacity of 50 tons/m2, ensures the launching of 10,000-ton structures and the reception of 10,000 DWT ships, along with a system of factories, synchronous production equipment, and high-quality human resources, skilled technical workers, welders meeting international standards... PVC-MS is qualified to simultaneously construct super-sized and super-heavy projects with high technical requirements.
